Our dedicated team of experienced professionals are at the heart of what we do, utilizing their unique skills and passion to move the work of our Non-Profit Organization forward. Without them, Kids Empower Community, Inc. would not be where it is today. Meet some of our team members below.
Diya Menon
CEO and Managing Director
Diya Menon is the founder of KIDS Empower Community. She developed this organization after her health struggles revealed to her that many groups, including herself, lacked critical health information and this information needed to be distributed in more accessible and digestible formats than already available.
Apart from her involvement with KEC, Diya also volunteers her time with multiple other service organizations, including the North Carolina Justice Department, where she serves as a Youth Attorney, and Leadership Initiatives, where she has worked with a team of students to develop workshops and raise over $4,400 dollars to fight Kwashiorkor's Malnutrition in Nigeria and as volunteer at UNC-Rex MSICU.
In her free time, Diya enjoys playing piano at her local retirement home and composing new songs on her ukulele
Divyansh Chaudhary
Event Management Director
Divyansh Chaudhary is a junior at NCSSM and is a black belt in Karate. He has been a member in KEC for the past 3 years. Through KEC he hopes to build a strong community and make an impact within it. He has expertise in Website development knowledge and helps with workshop set ups. Divyansh enjoys dancing, listening to music, volunteering, reading and traveling. He is also a member Raleigh Youth Choir.
Divya Chaudhary
Social Media and Outreach Director
Divya Chaudhary is a Freshman in Wake Early College - Information and biotechnology, located in Raleigh, NC. Being apart of KEC team Divya in charge of social outreach. Divya enjoys volunteering at other organizations, selling her art work through Gift for help, and baking. Additionally she loves to watch movies with family & spends her free time in knitting and dancing.
